I grew up in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, a city of contrasts, where old stone bridges meet strong sunlight and stories are never simple. Growing up there taught me early how to adapt, stay resourceful, and keep moving forward even when stability wasn’t guaranteed. It shaped the way I look at the world with curiosity, resilience, and respect for complexity.
During my student days, I worked as a candymaker at The Fudgery in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Long hours, hot sugar, and constant attention to detail. That experience taught me that great results aren’t about first impressions or decoration, but about balance, timing, and truly understanding the person you’re creating for. Care shows in the final outcome always.
Today, I carry that same mindset into my work as a Product Designer. I help teams turn complexity into clarity by understanding people first and shaping thoughtful, usable experiences around them. Outside of work, I’m a husband and dad, a judo coach and national judo referee who also practices BJJ, and an avid hiker and reader. I’m also continuously working on improving my drawing skills and writing and illustrating a book of my own, a personal project that reminds me why craft, discipline, and storytelling matter.
I break complex problems into clear steps, think through risks early, and explore multiple paths before deciding. I do my best work when there’s space to think deeply and turn insights into practical solutions.
I care about people and what makes them unique. Trust and psychological safety matter, because strong work grows in environments where people feel supported and heard. Helping others grow and building something meaningful together motivates me.
I’m driven to learn, improve, and follow through. I value preparation over shortcuts and progress over perfection. I bring steady, positive energy that helps teams stay focused and move forward.
